Beef Stew


+ Ingredients: 

- Beef (calf meat, pickled meat, no need to take rotten meat)

- Pineapple Beans

- Lemongrass root, lemon leaves, turmeric, rhubarb, garlic, red onion

- Ripe tamarind

- Roasted peanuts

- Roasted peppers

- Curry

- Coconut paste

- Prahok or Kapi

- Sugar, salt, fish sauce

+ How to do

- Cut beef into small pieces cut the pineapple into small pieces.

- Cut the beans into short pods.

- Roast peppers, remove fibers, remove seeds and soak in water to expand. Grind with sugar (so as not to be too spicy). Beat or grind the base of lemon leaves with lemon leaves, turmeric, rhubarb, garlic, red onion, roasted peanuts and mix with roasted peppers and Pour the prahok (if you use kapi or prahok, the meat does not need to be chewed), pour a little coconut milk into the pot, then add the lemon zest and the prahok, mix well and stir in the beef.

- Add pickled beans or ripe tamarind, then add fish sauce, salt, sugar, cover the pot and let it boil for a while. Add coconut paste and simmer for a while, then add pineapple and beans. Let it boil again, taste salty and sweet, it is ready.

Note: If you do not stir the ingredients before adding the chicken, our curry will not turn red.
